Summary

Objectives Main objectives are to promote the digitalisation of the environmental sector through the use of drones; promote an understanding about the relation between digitisation and environmental challenges; raise awareness of environmental protection; provide young people with the necessary skills and methodologies to combat environmental challenges; and provide young people with updated skills to get green employment. Activities - Introduction to environmental drone piloting. A training course for young people who are interested in becoming drone pilots with environmental applications. - Discovering piloting. A practical workshop in which young people will be able to see how professionals fly drones in an environmental space. - Bringing green jobs. Seminar where young people will be exposed to the importance of green jobs to achieve a sustainable economy, among them will be the environmental drone pilot. Impact - Awareness of environmental issues and the effect of human action on nature. - Increased number of opportunities of employment in the growing sector of green, sustainable and digitised jobs. - Development of green skills of young people through their participation in the practical workshop. - Understanding of how drones can be a relevant element for green jobs in the coming years within the labour market.
