The project aimed to: 1. Train teachers to monitor their emotions, needs, and behaviour, ensuring their well-being while fostering students' self-esteem, emotional health, and classroom connection. This supports the priorities of teacher development and inclusion. 2. Equip teachers with effective communication tools like active listening, first-person speech, constructive humour, and empowering feedback to improve interactions and support students. 3. Enhance teaching quality by guiding teachers to improve student focus and presence through mindfulness techniques. 4. Reduce bullying and discrimination by promoting diversity, valuing individual differences, and fostering an inclusive environment for all students, regardless of background.

The project was structured around four key work packages. In the first, teachers were trained in self-awareness, emotional self-care, and self-compassion, helping them manage their emotions and better support students. As the participating teachers passed these skills on, pupils gained self-esteem and emotional well-being, reducing stress and anxiety. The second work package covered conscious communication, where teachers learned active listening, empowering feedback, cooperation skills, use of humour, and avoiding blame. The third WP focused on mindfulness techniques to improve focus, mental clarity, and psychological well-being. The students and teachers created vlogs, journals, board games on different ways to be present and achieve peace of mind. The last WP addressed multiculturalism, discrimination, and bullying to foster inclusive tolerance. The partners were trained in the use of theatre, cinema and role-playing activities to build a supportive school environment. In addition, they received training about the integration of refugees.
