Objectives

By implementing the Everything Stars With Health project, our primary aim was to promote healthier lifestyles among students and build lasting change through education, innovation, and inclusion. First, we aimed to reduce obesity among students aged 6 to 20 using a mix of formal, informal, and non-formal educational methods. Through engaging activities and awareness campaigns, we wanted to encourage healthier eating habits, regular physical activity, and better self-care. Second, we sought to create and apply innovative learning tools, including an OER (Open Educational Resource) e-booklet and a practical e-handbook on healthy living and balanced nutrition. These resources were designed to be accessible, reusable, and adaptable across different learning environments and schools. Third, we worked to enhance key competencies—such as digital skills, English language proficiency, and environmental awareness among pupils across partner schools. We used collaborative platforms, creative digital tools, and hands-on tasks to support this goal. Finally, we aimed to promote inclusion and social equity, particularly for students with fewer opportunities.

Activities

The project included five key activities (C1 to C5), each held in a different partner country: • C1 (Greece): Awareness training on healthy life, healthy nutrition, information • C2 (Turkey): Healthy eating: Healthy meals, healthy eating activities • C3 (Croatia): Healthy life, preparing balanced nutrition brochures • C4 (North Macedonia): Use of masks, awareness, mask design studies • C5 (Greece): Documentation of these activities, surveys, evaluation, dissemination

Impact

Throughout our project, we achieved a wide array of concrete outputs and impactful results that directly supported our overarching goal: to embed healthy living and nutrition habits into the everyday lives of our students and their wider communities. One of the most significant outputs was the development of a comprehensive e-booklet and e-handbook on health and balanced nutrition, compiled collaboratively by all partner schools. Students and teachers also produced creative materials like slogan posters, masks, brochures, banners, logo, videos, healthy menus recipes, presentations, photo album consisting of photos of healthy eating activities, school erasmus board which were showcased during school events and used to promote health awareness by using Web 2.0 tools for example, creating fruit avatars with Bitmoji and talking fruits and vegetables using chatterpix. We also organized workshops, exhibitions, and health-themed events that involved families and other schools, local communities, ngo, extending the project’s impact beyond the classroom.
