The objectives of the B.4C.K. project are: - to give our high schools, an international scope and dimension after the Covid crisis, - - to give our students, a feeling of belonging and European citizenship while a war rages on the threshold of our countries, - to give our communities, desire and power to act to preserve the environment while the latest IPCC report warns of the ecological emergency. These objectives are found in the chosen themes and are linked to the curriculum and teaching in arts, foreign languages and history-geography.

A group of students from Carcassonne went to Krakow accompanied by an artist and 3 teachers to initiate artistic work in cooperation with their Polish counterparts (Mobility/Activity 1). Once the work was completed, in November 2023, a delegation from Carcassonne (15 people among which 10 students) went back to Krakow to offer and unveil this work of art created by Manon Damiens (Mobility /Activity 3). Almost at the same time, identical and reciprocal mobilities/activities 2 (in March 2023) and 4 (in October 2023) took place: a group of 26 high school students, an artist and a delegation from Krakow went to Carcassonne and offered the Polish work created by artist Artur Wabik.

The expected results are embodied by the 2 works of art that were exchanged between our two high schools. They stand for the strength of common European action and the urgency of acting for the climate. The power of art and the shared experiences will act on our surroundings and communities through the participants becoming ambassadors of these values and through the dissemination of the results of the project which we want to be maximized and carried by our students who will become actors in their learning. Centrally exhibited in our respective high schools, the works of our two artists are both anchored in the theme of connection, exchange, sharing and the fraternity of peoples. Manon Damiens, the artist from Aude, has in her metallic work organized planets in the colors of our two countries connected by a long uninterrupted ribbon. Artur Wabik, in his street art style, chose to illustrate the events experienced in the project in a flag inspired by a monopoly board and linking the symbols of our two countries.
