▶Objectives
Our central objective was inclusion in the education and training of young people and young adults. Our ambition was to support teachers in adopting innovative teaching methods by providing them with simplified and visual training tools. The aim of this project was to respond to an issue identified by FE through a survey of its stakeholders, revealing that accommodating disability in training is a major challenge for the teachers and trainers in our network. FE had initially responded to this need with specific training courses, but we wanted to go further. Current legislation requires schools to cater for people with reading and comprehension difficulties, including the compulsory presence of a disability adviser. The project aimed to meet this requirement by providing tools for both teachers and learners. The needs study confirmed the interest and expectations for these tools. Our project aimed to capitalise on this enthusiasm for educational innovation and meet the expectations of professionals and learners, by proving that these changes are not only necessary but also feasible.
▶Activities
The various project activities were as follows: A1: Creation of a toolbox of activities for teachers A2: Creation of a "Scribbling for better learning" learner's manual. A3: Creation of a lesson in FALC on the fight against over-consumption.
