DiverCity

DiverCity aims to improve the practices used to encourage the participation and civic engagement of young refugees in Europe. It addresses young refugees, young volunteers, youth workers and authorities in charge of inclusion policies: Include young refugees in out-of-school civic education policies; develop civic education practices with methods from various fields of learning and train in these practices.

Several activities allow us to reach our objectives and produce our results. Working meetings for partners to follow and coordinate the realization of activities and results, dissemination events to disseminate the results and training sessions. These results will be the result of several activities dedicated to one objective (workshops, focus groups, conferences, testimonies, cultural workshops, debates...).

At the end of the project, several results will be available for free access on the project page: qualitative field study on existing public policies; brochure of proposals to authorities and specialized organizations on how to integrate the needs of young people in their civic activities; brochure for young people on their civic involvement; method-sheets for new activities; inclusive guidelines; training kit; Moodle
