We aimed to strengthen language awareness, enhance digital competencies, and increase cultural sensitivity among both students and teachers. By integrating innovative teaching methods such as CLIL and Web 2.0 tools, we sought to create engaging, learner-centered environments that would motivate students—especially those from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds—to improve their communication skills. Another key goal was to broaden participants’ intercultural understanding and foster a sense of European citizenship through collaborative activities, cultural visits, and shared projects across partner schools. Ultimately, we wanted to encourage continuous professional development among educators, ensure equitable access to high-quality educational resources, and cultivate an inclusive community where language learning and digital fluency open doors to future opportunities. We also aimed to reduce early school leaving by demonstrating the real-world relevance of language and digital mastery. By promoting peer collaboration across national borders, we hoped to reinforce mutual respect and shared problem-solving approaches. Finally, through diverse cultural perspectives, we aspired to spark a genuine passion for lifelong learning

We organized a series of interrelated activities designed to advance language awareness, digital competencies, and intercultural understanding. First, we formed Project Execution Teams to oversee planning, budgeting, participant selection, and dissemination. We then held four Learning Education Training Activities (LTTAs) in Croatia, Portugal, Romania, and Turkey, where teachers attended workshops on CLIL methodology, Web 2.0 tools, and functional language use, supplemented by cultural visits to strengthen real-life language application. After each LTTA, the participating teachers hosted student workshops in their home schools, ensuring that newly learned practices benefited at least 80 students. We also maintained Erasmus+ Corners in each school, updated eTwinning and social media platforms, and published bulletins summarizing each mobility’s outcomes. Pre-test and post-test surveys, along with regular feedback sessions, measured our progress toward greater language and digital fluency. Finally, we showcased all project outputs—such as digital materials, e-brochures, and cultural stories—through virtual exhibitions, school events, and a dedicated project website.

Concrete Outputs We produced a range of Web 2.0-based digital materials (e.g., Storybird narratives, Thinglink projects, digital posters) and published an e-brochure on linguistic and cultural awareness featuring activities from each partner country. Four teacher workshops introduced innovative tools and CLIL strategies, each summarized in an LTTA bulletin. We created a website, maintained a dedicated eTwinning space, and opened social media channels to share progress. Erasmus+ Corners displayed updates in every school, while “Foreign Languages Student Communities” engaged 80+ students in post-mobility workshops. Other Results Teachers and students reported stronger digital competencies and heightened enthusiasm for language study. Cultural visits fostered intercultural respect, strengthening a sense of European identity. Through collaborative lesson planning, teachers integrated these new techniques into their regular curricula. Students greatly appreciated the hands-on digital tasks, finding them relevant to modern learning styles. Finally, bridging the digital gap offered many disadvantaged learners equitable access to cutting-edge tools, confirming that our objectives were effectively met.
