The aim of the project was to provide professional support and tools for teachers to respond more effectively to the educational challenges of the 21st century. Four niche training programmes were developed, focusing on media literacy, democracy education, career guidance and online bullying. These areas are of particular importance for developing young people's skills and preparing them for social empowerment. Our aim was to use the training to enhance teachers' competences, improve the climate in learning communities and support schools in disadvantaged regions. We emphasised the use of non-formal methods to promote creativity and collaboration in education. An important aim of the project was also to create an international partnership that is sustainable in the long term. Working with a partner in Slovakia provided an opportunity to exchange good practices, share experiences and solve common problems. As a result of the initiative, participants not only gained new skills and knowledge, but also built a support network that will continue to promote the development of public education in the future.

Four main activities were carried out throughout the project to develop teachers and achieve the project's objectives. As a first step, a thorough preparation and planning work was carried out, including a needs assessment of the target group through questionnaire surveys and professional meetings. On this basis, we developed the training topics, which were based on the themes of media awareness, democracy education, career guidance and online bullying. In the next phase, four workshops were organised in Hungary and Slovakia, where experts from the partners worked together on the training materials. The training materials were then tested in two online and four face-to-face test sessions, during which feedback from participating teachers was incorporated into the final materials. In total, 64 teachers were reached. In the final phase of the project, we carried out extensive dissemination activities, including the creation of a website, the publication of the training materials and the organisation of three dissemination events. These events helped to make the results of the project more widely available and to support teachers in the long term.

The concrete outputs of the project include the development of four training programmes, each lasting 24 hours, on media awareness, democracy education, career guidance and online harassment. These training courses will include a thematic programme, methodological descriptions, bibliography and annexes, fully adapted to the needs of the target group. The materials produced are freely available to all teachers on the project website. The training programmes were piloted in two online and four face-to-face test training sessions, attended by a total of 64 teachers. These sessions provided an opportunity to integrate feedback from participants, ensuring the relevance and usability of the training. In addition, four professional meetings were organised during the project, which strengthened cooperation between the Hungarian and Slovak partners and contributed to professional development. As other results, two dissemination events were held, attended by a total of 60 professionals. These events not only presented the results of the project but also facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience between participants.
