▶Objectives
The project pursued the main objective of establishing an inclusive European network of young aspiring farmers aimed at promoting circular agriculture. Through cooperation with institutions, media, associations, and local training centers, the project sought to raise awareness within communities about the benefits of sustainable agricultural practices. Moreover, special attention was given to outlining strategies to ensure the network’s sustainability beyond the project’s conclusion, exploring opportunities and tools to support ongoing collaboration among participants and encourage resource sharing. The project website was designed to function as a platform to facilitate networking and maintain dialogue among network members.
▶Activities
The objectives, work plan, and management procedures were defined during the initial phase. The second phase focused on implementing local activities and transnational mobilities, with three main events organized in Lublin, Paranesti, and Rome. The third phase included measures to ensure effective management and quality monitoring of the activities carried out. Finally, the fourth phase was dedicated to evaluating and disseminating the final results to ensure the sustainability and widespread impact of the project.
▶Impact
The project delivered two main high-impact outputs. First, a manual of best practices for aspiring circular farmers, titled The Green Circle, was developed and made available as an Open Educational Resource (OER). Second, a motivational video story, consisting of short tutorial videos showcasing sustainable agricultural practices, was published online under the title How to Be a Circular Farmer to promote circular agriculture and inspire young people to pursue this profession. Additionally, the project website, the project charter, and the monitoring reports were used as tools to promote the project and disseminate the best practices manual and motivational video. The website, in particular, played a central role as a hub for project materials, providing easy and direct access to resources for a broad and diverse audience. The project charter served as a strategic guide for communicating the objectives and outcomes, while the monitoring reports documented progress, ensuring transparency and offering a solid foundation for engaging new stakeholders.
