Objectives

The PS aimed to develop, validate and disseminate a methodological model that could enable VET organizations to innovate their training methodology proposal, enhance in young people transversal skills but also increase their self-esteem and awareness of their own possibilities; support them in discovering the beauty of dialogue, of confrontation among peers even from different nations. To bring young people with fewer possibilities closer to Europe. And this by conceiving, designing and experimenting with an educational methodology such as EDU-LARP (enhanced by tools such as augmented reality the digital and English language), and thus arriving at validating a methodological model that can be systematized in the organizations involved and the VET organizations concerned. With STORIE, the PS intended to enable its staff to enhance their skills in mentoring young people especially those with greater fragility, to give the Barbagia Rural District the opportunity to acquire skills in the European exchange, and to do this, Studio L&P, in a special way supported the district step by step.

Activities

The activities that have been implemented are: A train-the-trainer training that would give the trainers involved the opportunity to understand the potential and possible uses of digital in educational tools. The conception, design and testing of an educational game directly involving the young people involved in the 2 target groups. (Barbagia- Sardinia, rural area Timisoara-Romania). A training course that enabled the young people involved to acquire skills in the legislative process; a training course that allowed them to learn about the situation of Romanian women in the 1920s; development of 2 Edu-larp; use of augmented reality as an interactive methodology to deepen themes and create technical connections; knowledge of a cross-section of the two countries to both the target group youth and the staff (cultural exchange between the two groups of young people was also important in less formal moments); Synergy and agreements between partners to network and lay the groundwork for other activities.

Below are the products of Storie - Edu-larp STORIE “School reform”: Training methodology and soft skills enhancement (in Italian and English) Edu-larp STORIE “Women in 1920 in Timișoara”: Training methodology and soft skills enhancement (in Romanian) - Video “Training model and Edu-larp of the project” In Italian, English, Romanian the video “tells about the project and the development of Edu-larp” and is a kind of methodological guide of STORIE - “Augmented Reality in STORIE” in English. Concise booklet for a brief introduction to Augmented and Virtual Reality Other achievements include. The rural district and Liceul Institute were able to gain knowledge and skills in educational games. The rural district also officially made contact with the Erasmus+ world and with very different working methodologies than usual. We all learned the difference between augmented and virtual reality and the endless possibilities of these fields of intervention and digital worlds. The young people enhanced digital skills, English language, self-esteem, awareness of their own potential, ability to relate to other young people from their own country and other nation by breaking down stereotypes.
