Innovating teaching methodologies: Improving the Institute’s educational offering by strengthening hands-on learning activities and integrating innovative teaching practices, particularly through work-based learning pathways (PCTO) and first-level apprenticeship programs. Facilitating internationalization: Creating opportunities for exchange and dialogue between Italian and German teachers and students, in order to acquire technical and intercultural skills that will enrich the educational experience. Strengthening the school-to-work connection: Establishing closer dialogue with local businesses and promoting a dual education model that effectively meets labor market needs. Consolidating good practices and training tools: Developing and sharing, through the creation of a handbook, guidelines and operational methodologies for the implementation of the dual education model in Italy.

The project fostered meaningful exchange with the goal of strengthening the dialogue between schools and the world of work. Through both in-person and online activities, the project engaged students, teachers, and tutors in a shared journey of observation, discussion, and experimentation on the topic of dual education. The experiences carried out — including company visits, focus groups, training sessions, and intercultural meetings — encouraged the dissemination of good practices and the analysis of apprenticeship models. Throughout the various stages, the project maintained a strong educational focus, offering concrete insights to improve the integration between education and employment. The initiative contributed to strengthening the professional skills of participants and laid the foundations for future European collaborations aimed at fostering youth development and enhancing the quality of education

The project generated tangible results in terms of operational tools, skills acquired, cultural exchanges, and the strengthening of ties between schools and businesses, providing a solid foundation for the development of further cooperation initiatives and for the dissemination of the dual education model at both national and European levels. Particularly significant is the enhancement of the skills of tutors involved in work-based learning pathways (PCTO) and first-level apprenticeship programs, which will lead to a qualitative improvement in the educational offerings of the participating institutes. During this period, the commitment to supporting international cooperation has been strengthened, aiming to enrich the experiential background of both students and teachers. Foundations have been laid for shared project work and for future collaborations aimed at sustaining and further developing the dual education model over time.
