To promote the possibilities offered by the interdisciplinarity between dance and film, by enhancing the participants' skills in performing arts, audiovisual techniques and dramaturgy, and by allowing them to explore the creative potential of the interaction between these artistic languages.More specifically: for dance students to deepen the difference between creating for the live stage and creating for the medium of film; for film students to develop a compositional and narrative approach that integrates the languages of dance and the performing arts.For teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary methodologies for artistic creation and teaching.To promote the internationalization of the students through the creation of heterogeneous Italian-Swedish working groups to collaborate in the creation of a final object (a short dance film).In the creative work, the development of autonomous and collaborative models of collective creation and virtuous cooperation based on mutual respect and democratic sharing was promoted.To involve local communities through participatory open studios and co-teaching activities led by the students, where they share part of their research and develop decision-making and organizational autonomy.

3 IWO (Intensive Workshop 2 in Sweden 1 in Italy) involving 27 students 3 artist-teachers 2 researchers 1 dramaturg.3 COSA (Co-teaching Students Actions) and 3 OSA (Open Studios Actions) for the local community. The realization of 6 short dance films.Several face-to-face and remote dialogues between the students, the teachers, the dramaturg and the researchers.Dissemination campaign via web and social media; through texts produced by the 2 researchers and 1 dramaturg; a disseminated symposium including open masterclasses and screenings of the 6 short films made by students.All activities were carried out by AB Dance Research, Vitlycke Centre for Performing Arts and with the involvement of sub-partners HDK Valand University of Gothenburg, Stockholm University of the Arts, IUAV of Venice.Some activities were extended compared to the original planning: the symposium developed in 3 meetings organized by the Swedish and Italian partners in cooperation with the host institution, namely: HKD Valand, University of Roma Tre and IUAV. Each event had a specific structure, with moments of dialogues, film screenings, open masterclass on the project themes and involved cultural workers, students, teachers and researches of hosts universities.

The students of dance and filmmaking acquired transdisciplinary skills, gained a better understanding of their respective artistic languages and developed their own creative tools in the realisation of 6 short films resulting from interdisciplinary and transnational groups collaboration.The artist-teachers developed innovative training methods and benefited from the confrontation and exchange among peers.The symposia, with contributions from international researchers and lecturers at universities in Italy and Sweden, have disseminated information about the project, which has attracted interest from both the academic and artistic fields, encouraging further developments and opening up new perspectives.The researchers and the dramaturg produced documents based on the observation of the process and its final results.The local communities of Vitlycke and Tuscania have benefited from the international participatory activities in their peripheral territory. The visibility of the project has been increased thanks to a communication campaign and to the final results of the 6 short dance-film.The cooperation between the partners has fostered a constructive dialogue between Italian and Swedish institutions, leading to future collaborations.
