The end goal of URISC is to grow the awareness of the importance of trees in a sustainable city together with Ob1) to increase the national and international cooperation capacities and experiences of our institutions Ob2) to create different perspectives, solutions and alternative measures in this regard Ob.4) to develop cross-cultural communication skills thanks to our project. Ob.5) to boost active citizenship and European citizenship by cooperation among different countries, schools Ob.6) to train students to work in a digital environment and to develop their foreign language skills (English) as well as their skills in social sciences. Ob.7) to realize numerous products which will spread the knowledge acquired

We implemented all the activities considered within different tasks related the project administration, management and implementation, organization of a Green school committee, definition of the activities to increase awareness of the importance of urban trees, e.g. surveys, meetings, leaflets etc., elaboration of new strategies and spreading the message

Students and stakeholders increased their knowledge related to the benefits and limits of urban trees, environmental topics, students learned to cooperate within an international team developing cross-cultural communication skills, English language, citizenship as well as deepening their knowledge on software, statistical approaches, communication and digital skills. They produced learning materials to be used in the school as well as in different communities (e.g. video, brochure, presentations, ..)
