Objectives

By implementing the project, project partners aimed to: Empower Female Students: Equip girls with STEM skills from an early age to increase their participation in engineering and STEM careers, overcoming gender biases and stereotypes. Promote Inclusiveness: Foster an inclusive and diverse educational environment, aligning with ERASMUS+ priorities and the EU 2025 Vision, to ensure equal opportunities for all students. Enhance Skills: Develop cross-skills and green skills in students to prepare them for future STEM careers and sustainability challenges. Raise Awareness: Increase awareness among students about STEM career opportunities, particularly for girls. Build Capacity: Share best practices among partner institutions to enhance their ability to deliver high-quality STEM education. Create a Network: Establish a digital platform for collaboration among students, educators, and institutions. Address Environmental Issues: Help students understand and address global sustainability challenges through STEM workshops. Foster European Values: Strengthen transnational partnerships to promote European Identity and Values, contributing to broader EU goals.

Activities

In the project, we implemented several key activities with all partners: 1.STEM Application Workshops for Green Skills (LTTA): Held from November 20 to 25, 2023, in Turkey, these workshops focused on developing green skills and environmental sustainability. Students gained STEM skills and awareness of sustainable living through practical, nature-based activities. 2.STEM Career Days (LTTA): Conducted from March 11 to 15, 2024, in Italy, this event helped students and education staff recognize and understand STEM careers. The goal was to transfer knowledge about STEM professions, required skills, and the impact of technology. 3.Corporate STEM Strategy Action Plan Workshop (LTTA): Held from May 6 to 10, 2024, in Estonia, this workshop provided education personnel with a transnational perspective on STEM education. They developed a 5-year STEM Strategy Action Plan to be integrated into their Schools and YIMEM's affiliated schools Strategic Annual Plans. 4.Online STEM Careers Workshops and Interviews: These sessions aimed to raise awareness about STEM careers and boost motivation among female students. They increased awareness among teachers and parents about the importance of STEM professions for a better future.

Impact

For Schools:STEM Strategy Action Plans: Schools developed 5-year STEM Strategy Action Plans, integrating these into their School Strategic Annual Plans, which provided a structured approach to enhance STEM education//Increased Institutional Capacity: Schools benefited from shared best practices and strategies, strengthening their ability to deliver high-quality STEM education For Teachers: Professional Development: Teachers gained valuable insights and skills through workshops and transnational mobility, enhancing their STEM teaching practices and broadening their perspective//Networking Opportunities: Teachers established connections with peers across Europe, facilitating collaboration and the exchange of ideas related to STEM education For Students:Enhanced STEM Skills Students acquired practical STEM and green skills through workshops, preparing them for future STEM careers and increasing their awareness of sustainability//Increased Career Awareness: Students gained a clearer understanding of STEM career opportunities, boosting their motivation and confidence in pursuing these fields//Improved Self-Confidence: Female students experienced increased self-confidence and motivation to pursue STEM careers due to targeted activities
