Objectives

By producing individualized digital games and materials that develop the cognitive, affective and motor aspects of individuals with special needs; we wanted to help them gain and develop academic, self-care, communication and social skills. We wanted to take part in the process of creating individual digital materials and digital education pedagogy that will attract their attention by providing their perception and motivation and support their permanent learning. We carried out activities that mobilized non-school institutions and target audiences. We wanted to raise awareness about the necessity of cooperation between different disciplines and institutions in this field. We wanted to realize barrier-free school stages and contribute to equal opportunities. We wanted to make our parents a more active component in the digital transformation and digital education process in special education. By internalizing EU values in our institutions; By providing capacity development with digital transformation, contributing to a more digital EU society and providing equal opportunities to disadvantaged groups; We wanted to carry out activities that include the society for a sustainable, inclusive digital education process.

Impact

We held transnational online courses, seminars and workshops every 2 months. We created a 5-year strategic plan for special education terminology and digital opportunities (with institutions and organizations such as NGOs, universities, schools). We ensured targeted, conscious use through a pedagogical plan. We have created a digital school culture through the creation of a digital education platform, membership and use of mobile applications by students and parents. With the last directive, we started the barrier-free school model by improving the physical, social and educational environment of the school by 75 percent within one year. We created 5 personalized products with the digital directive. We created 4 gamified digital course materials for each student. We assessed students' 100% progress with digital portfolios, instructions and scales. By subscribing 90% of our parents to digital and mobile applications, we enabled them to monitor and support the basic skills of their students. 85% of our students and education stakeholders have become aware of digital concepts. With our project, we increased our institutional capacity through digital transformation with EU values and targets.
