▶Objectives
We wanted to; -increase the European and international dimension of inclusive education by advancing joint cooperation of the partners in the creation of an E-BOOK and BOOKLET about the most common Proverbs, Idioms and Sayings of the participating countries Italy, Germany, Spain and Turkiye. -preserve the linguistic cultural heritage of European nations, and transform it into the knowledge and understanding among young people and educational staff of the diversity of European cultures through digitalisation. -integrate various lingusitic cultures in the creation of an E-Book and a Booklet via the use of different digital means. -help our students with special needs, with disadvantages to feel the joy of transnational friendship and to achieve success in their future life via offering them an international experience of being involved in all stages of the project. -support teachers via sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences about diversified group of learners thanks to cross-border meetings. -build up the international networking capacity of the pariticipating schools via setting partnerships and integrating the results of the project into the educational environment.
▶Activities
Each of the partner schools hosted a project mobility and organized Learning Teaching Training activities during which an E-Book/Booklet including the most common Idioms and Sayings of Italy, Germany, Spain and Turkiye as chapters was developed. 37 students with fewer opportunities took part in the four cross-border meetings who were accompanied by 23 teachers. The E-Book was designed on Canva and distributed among the members of the participating schools and shared on the net for free use of anyone. We established a website on which pictures and articles related to the carried out activities were shared so as to reach wider community. An ESEP twinspace project was also launched on which the results of the activities were publicated, besides the social media accounts. We also designed 2 Calendars, a logo and ppt presentations. An inclusive short sketches about the Idioms and Sayings were staged in Germany. And the participant teachers exchanged ideas and teaching practices about Social Inclusion, digitalisation, cultural linguistic heritage.
