▶Objectives
The vision of the Zonta movement is a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential and a world where no woman lives in fear of violence. However, women still face discrimination, violations of women's rights and even violence. However, women still face discrimination, violations of women's rights and even violence. Often women are silent about it. They are ashamed, afraid and do not know where to ask for advice or help. Society is also often silent on the subject of violence until something horrific happens. Therefore, with the help of this project, the project partners wanted to find and try a new way to encourage women to speak about violations of women's rights, discrimination or violence, as well as to increase public awareness of this problem. Of course, the partners also wanted to build the capacity of their organizations, both by supplementing and/or strengthening knowledge about violence issues, and by creating a methodological base for further activities to strengthen and support women's self-confidence. The third goal within the project was cooperation with local institutions involved in eliminating the consequences of violence or mitigating violence.
