Objectives

Main objective of the project was to address the digital transformation through distance training/learning possibilities. Aims were to: 1) raise awareness of digital technologies and transformation; 2) raise awareness of innovative learning/teaching approaches of VE; 3) raise awareness of flexibility of VET opportunities; 4) promote digital skills and competences of sport trainers; 5) create link of doing/learning sports in presence and in distance; 6) promote physical and mental health as well as well-being; 7) promote EU, Erasmus+, VET values. All 14 project activities were focused on these 7 aims and the main objective: 1) Management activity supervised other activities to be linked to all or either of these aims and objective. Transnational and online meetings were a direct support to the management activity. 2) Communication activity ongoing disseminated other activities in strong connection with the project's aims and the objective; 3) Through the remote sport events all seven project aims and the main objective were reached; 4) Multiplier events boosted up the communication and dissemination of the project results and activities covering the same goals as the Communications and dissemination activity.

Activities

The main activities to be implemented within the project lifecycle were to: 1) develop a Handbook for VET decision-makers, sport trainers designed commonly by all partners; 2) organize two digital, remote sport competitions/PE lessons for sport VE and sport trainers and learners to address the digital transformation in each partner country; 3) organize multiplier events to boost up dissemination of the project results in each partner country; 4) promote EU, Erasmus+, VET values which was most of all done by adding the EC logo and disclaimer to all communication activities and promotional materials; 5) raise knowledge and expertise of the project participants, which was reached not only on digital online sport apps, remote sport events organization, public speaking in transnational meetings, online meetings and at the end of the project in the multiplier events, but also by acquiring research study elements that were necessary for the Handbook implementation. In addition, all project partners learned to work with online design program Canva for design of Project Cards and Handbook, which initially was not foreseen by the project proposal. So, here is a value added for the initial proposal.

Impact

The obtained results almost in all activities were higher than expected: 1) knowledge of digitalization and digital skills was raised of 42 TG2 in 4 countries. The baseline value was defined 40. 2) innovative approach of VET was developed and described in the Handbook of the project SWIM. 3) awareness of flexibility of VET opportunities was raised by MEs to 155 participants. The baseline value was defined 100. 4) networks, capacity, quality of daily work was developed/reinforced, internationalization of activities of project partners was boosted by introducing the digital practices as pilot experiences by 2 coaches/PE teachers in each partner organization. 5) cooperation, exchanges of experience at EU level was promoted most of all through the transnational meetings, online meetings. 6) common partner needs - reduce / prevent dropout from sport, were addressed and their capacity was built by the pilot experience practices mentioned above in the point 4). 7) stakeholders at all levels were addressed through all communication activities in English at EU level, in national languages at local, regional, national levels.
