Objectives

we wanted to help students develop critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork skills while gaining a direct understanding og the environmental challenges we face, such as climate change, desforestation, and pollution. By learning outdoors, students experience the interconnectedness of human and natural system, reinforcing the importance og sustanaible living.

Activities

Eco teachers played a key role in the activities of the environmental ethics and responsibility, helping students understand how their actions can contribute to preserving the planet for future generations. Futhermore, the activities implemented in the project, promoted active citizenship by empowering students to take action in their communities, from conservation efforts to advocacy for sustainable policies. We are sure that the outdoor environmental activities in this project fosters a generation of environmentally conscious individuals who are equipped to address the ecological challenges og today and ensure a healthier planet for tomorrow. We had big focus both on how we implement and what kind of activities we wanted to have with the students.

Impact

Concrete outputs and other results in this project: Students and teachers develop a deeper understanding og environmental issues, leading to more sustanaible behaviors in daily life. Participants gain hands-on experience in conservation practices, such as waste management, water conservation, and biodiversity monitoring. The creation of eco-friendly school gardens, composting systems and creating activities with the other studens and teachers at schools that reduce environmental footprints. We can also se a behavioral change on adoption og sustanible consumption habits among studens, teachers, and their families. In Norway the hole school took part of an Eco-Awareness campain. We organized and lead awarness campaign promoting issues and sustanaible solutions.
