Objectives

The project aimed to harness the positive aspects that emerged during the pandemic, particularly in fostering cultural engagement and technological development among adults. We sought to spread this renewed interest in culinary culture and technology to a broader audience, encouraging adults to reconnect with their cultural heritage while enhancing their digital skills. Key objectives included promoting national and cultural identity, raising awareness of local culinary traditions, and increasing ICT proficiency. By facilitating intercultural exchanges and activating seniors, the project aimed to combat stereotypes, foster community engagement, and improve overall well-being, ultimately reducing digital exclusion among older adults. The project aimed to enhance the ICT skills of adult participants, enabling them to share their experiences digitally. Recognizing that skills in cooking alone are not enough, we focused on training participants to use IT tools for tasks like recording videos and preparing presentations. Ultimately, we sought to empower participants to use technology effectively, fostering a supportive environment where they could serve as role models for others in their communities.
