▶Objectives
The project aimed to support the digital inclusion of older people and migrants through their active involvement in digi-volunteering. This enabled seniors to reduce loneliness and migrants to gain access to essential support services. We wanted to enable them to develop digital skills to counteract social exclusion and improve their quality of life. As part of the project, adult educators gained skills to create informal learning situations that would engage these two vulnerable groups in learning and digital inclusion, so that everyone, regardless of age or background, had the opportunity to participate. The aim was also to increase the competence of international cooperation among adult educators and to involve other target groups in them, so that the effects of the project would have a lasting impact not only locally, but also be available in other EU countries and beyond. We wanted to develop the idea and skills of digital volunteering, to raise the level of digital skills and to raise awareness of their growing importance in everyday life and work. The aim of the project was to strengthen motivation to work with vulnerable groups and to promote the Erasmus+ programme, especially among less experienced organisations.
