In implementing this project, we wanted to improve the digital competences of seniors so that they could independently and safely use modern technologies in their daily lives, including banking, official services and online communication. In addition, we wanted to develop their cultural and communication competences in a broad scope, so that they could better understand and establish positive relationships with people from different cultures, especially in the context of the growing number of refugees. The goal was also to break down the psychological and social barriers that make it difficult for seniors to fully participate in a digital and multicultural society, as well as to activate this social group through integration and joint social activities. Thanks to this, we wanted to increase their independence, self-confidence and sense of belonging to a modern, open and diverse community. By implementing the project, we also wanted to increase the skills of its participants from Poland and Italy regarding the use of modern digital tools, effective intercultural communication and the organization and conduct of education tailored to the needs of seniors.
