▶Objectives
The primary objective of the TheWESInvestors project was to increase the visibility and participation of women as early-stage investors in Europe. To achieve this, we focused on several key goals: • Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: We aimed to equip women entrepreneurs with the soft skills and mindset needed to take on leadership roles in the investment ecosystem. • Creating Visibility for Female Investors: By showcasing successful female investors and role models, we sought to inspire more women to consider early-stage investment. • Improving Access to Investment Funds: We aimed to facilitate access to investment opportunities for women entrepreneurs, helping them grow their businesses and enhance their international reach. • Education and Capacity Building: Through surveys, best practice videos, and capacity-building programs, we provided education and tools to increase women's confidence and knowledge in the field of investment. • Policy Advocacy: We also wanted to influence policy by developing recommendations aimed at increasing the number of female early-stage investors in Europe.
