Objectives

The main objective was to provide students with a wide range of experiences, with active participation, so that they can increase their awareness of issues related to water in the environment, and independently and autonomously adopt attitudes and values aimed at its protection and conservation. Motivate our students and the entire school community that surrounds them, to adopt a deeper, more careful and responsible attitude towards one of Europe's most valuable resources: water.

Activities

In this project we carried out 7 activities, 3 webinars, related to water resources, a photography competition related to the theme of the project and water scarcity and climate change. A transversal activity to the project, which was the construction of a Padlet, where the materials were placed as they were produced or made, and a way to disseminate the project; 3 mobilities to each of the countries involved.

Impact

A sharing and exchange of knowledge about the reality of water resources in each country/city. The activities carried out allowed students to learn about the reality of other countries, and to understand that water is a common good and that we should all be aware of the importance of its preservation and rational use. In addition, students learned about other cultures, exchanged information about each of their countries, becoming more knowledgeable and aware of water pollution and global warming. The data collected by each country on the various parameters was used to create a Padlet for the project to inform the school community. A mobile application was developed on the rational use of water and shared with the entire community, as well as with our partners so that they can use it in an attempt to use as little water as possible in their daily activities.
