▶Objectives
We wanted our students to 1. have a deeper sense of their European identity; 2. have greater Art's knowledge; 3. raise social and environmental responsibility; 4. have a better ability to accept and understand different points of view and opinions; 5. have better communication skills, including ICT; 6. have a raising sense of belonging to a great Community, the European Union.
▶Activities
Throughout the entire project we used digital tools both to communicate (what'sApp, video conference, email) and accomplishment of other activities. We used Canva, Genially, among other tools. Each partner created some three or four "Art's Guides of the hometown" which have been used for the visit of one's city. Each partner chose 10 pieces of art which they gathered in an "Art in a box" that went around all the schools so that the students could have contact with other countries' items. We also created "New Tales from Europe" - after a traditional tale from each participating country had been studied and illustrated, each school sent the illustrations to other school to be observed and the tale rewritten. In addition, we held four transnational meetings that took place in each of the participating schools.
▶Impact
As results of the project we have tangible and no tangible results. So, we have the "New Tales from Europe", four in total; four "Art in a Box" owes, one per participating school; various Art's guides of each town. Besides, both students and teachers improved their communication and collaborative skills, they have grown in their understanding of EU values, in their understanding and acceptance of difference. They have also raised their social responsibility.
