▶Objectives
Through the implementation of this project, we have proposed to increase the degree of awareness of inclusion at the level of interpersonal communication, to implement 5 interactive learning methods included in an online learning guide, to increase the degree of professional development of teaching staff through learning activities carried out in the De La Salle College Sixth Form School, in Malta, to increase by 7-10% the motivation of students from disadvantaged backgrounds to actively participate in the learning process, by creating a multicultural space and international learning. The target groups were students between the ages of 13 and 16 and teachers from the three partner schools. Also, we have proposed that through the implementation of this project, both the students who are now in schools, as well as those who will enter in the following years, as well as the teachers will use all the resources created within this project, sustainability being ensured through the results and the resources of the project, and the benefit following the implementation of the project, to be a high one, at various human levels: communication, relational, linguistic, digital skills.
▶Activities
The activities implemented within this project were the following: 1. Learning activities for teachers in Malta, 15-19 May 2023 2. Learning activities for students and teachers in Greece, March 10-15, 2024 3. Learning activities for students and teachers in Romania, September 16-20, 2024 4. Dissemination activities: - “The playful café with interactive methods" - “The small drama box" - "Inclusion in theatre - the movie" - "A multicultural touch. Inclusion viewed through the eyes of a student's soul" Other additional dissemination activities: articles in newspapers, magazines, participation in TV shows, presentations at special pedagogical circles, an associated eTwinning project, presentations at symposia, conferences and other local, regional, national and international events. 5. Sub activities: - Inclusion workshops through examples of good practices - Journalism club - Inclusion sports workshops - Interactive teaching and pedagogical learning activities - Theatrical writing activities - Inclusive activity "Friendship bracelets" - Collaborative activity to build costumes, props and other decorations with recycled and recyclable materials for the play
▶Impact
The results of the project are the following: 1. Online guide containing 5 new teaching methods and 10 lesson plans, as a result of the learning activity in Malta, in which teachers from the 3 partner schools participated 2. A play called "School life - All together in inclusion", with text and video (1h) published online, for which they rehearsed online for several months and then presented it physically in Greece in March 2024. 3. A multicultural magazine, printed with ISSN and online, written in 4 languages, English, Romanian, Maltese, Greek, by the students participating in the project, for which they met online for several months 4. "Small Drama box" - result of the dissemination activity, online and printed methodical guide, with lesson plans 5. Video presentation made by the students, together with the school counselor, on the subject of school inclusion. Some of them are elaborated according to the models of the partner schools, Malta and Greece, and others according to the national curriculum, constituting a source of good practice models in didactic activity 6. eBook - "Inclusion through examples of good practices" 7.
