FOOD-4-THOUGHT: CULTIVATING THE PATHWAYS

Objectives FOOD-4-THOUGHT aims to encourage the active participation of YOUNG PEOPLE in setting up and maintaining URBAN VEGETABLE GARDENS, in order to address current global problems such as food and nutrition security as well as climate change challenges, to support YP in developing a sense of initiative by encouraging them to get involved in local community activities, to promote Urban Agriculture and encourage local food production for advancing food and nutrition security. Activities -RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES TRAINING PACK FOR EMPOWERING URBAN YOUTH -DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF FOOD-4-THOUGHT DIGITAL TOOLS: MULTIPURPOSE INTERACTIVE PORTAL & “HOW TO GROW” VIDEO TUTORIALS -DEVELOPMENT OF FOOD-4-THOUGHT TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR TRANSFORMING YP INTO AMBASSADORS OF ORGANIC FOOD PRODUCTION AND GUARDIANS OF THE ENVIRONMENT AGAINST CLIMATE CRISIS -DISSEMINATION-EXPLOITATION STRATEGY FOR PROMOTING THE FOOD-4-THOUGHT TRAINING PROGRAMME AT NATIONAL-EU LEVEL Impact 1.
