Objectives

This project offered the opportunity to integrate innovative practices and reflect on our teaching methodologies to increase student engagement and motivation, ultimately contributing to better academic outcomes. By collaborating with schools in Italy, Turkey, and Spain, we aimed to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and participate in peer learning through digital and social activities, thus enhancing the overall professional growth of our teaching staff. In today's globalized world, fostering intercultural understanding is crucial. Through this project, we seek to expose our students and teachers to diverse cultures and perspectives, promoting respect for linguistic and cultural diversity as well as encouraging the development of multilingual skills, in line with the European Union's core principles. As part of the European Union's priorities for 2021-2027, the project addressed the critical areas of green initiatives and digitalization. We aimed to integrate digital tools into our teaching practices, ensuring that our students and staff are equipped with the necessary digital competencies while fostering awareness of environmental sustainability.

Activities

We implemented a variety of activities designed to address the goals of fostering innovation, increasing intercultural awareness and improving digital competencies, all while enhancing the overall educational experience. The activities we carried out include the following: 3 mobilities (Lleida/Spain, Catania/Italy and Ankara/Turkey) - Teachers attended professional development workshops that provided tools for fostering reflective and autonomous learning in the classroom. Cultural activities included visits to historical sites and opportunities to learn about traditions and customs, contributing to intercultural awareness. The Serbian team took the initiative to organize an online workshop that brought together all project participants virtually. This online session focused on the use of digital tools for collaborative and innovative teaching, with an emphasis on building digital competencies among educators. Participants shared insights and strategies for enhancing student engagement through online platforms and discussed best practices for integrating digital resources into their curriculum. The online workshop provided an inclusive environment for knowledge exchange and offered practical solutions for overcoming challenges.
