The main goal during the two-year project was to get to know the cultural heritage of Slovaks and Croatians. Strengthening common values, civic engagement of selected target groups from among adults and seniors from both Croatia and Slovakia. Building and expanding mutual cooperation between the participating organizations. Part of this goal was the mutual exchange of experiences of organizations, learning about traditions, establishing and maintaining cultural, social, international contacts with an emphasis on supporting active European citizenship and transferring the European dimension to the local level with the subsequent development of communities in the Dolný Kubín region in Slovakia and in the Selca Municipality in Croatia. The goal was closely linked to the selected priorities such as common values, civic engagement and active citizenship, improving the availability of educational opportunities for adults, activities focused on inclusion and diversity, the environment, development of key competences and creativity of target groups with a lack of opportunities.
