We applied for this project to address the critical need for enhanced climate change education among students and teachers, who were identified as the primary target group. The main objectives were to raise awareness about the observable global effects of climate change and to develop innovative practices through the activities conducted. Throughout the project, we aimed to exchange best practices in water management, waste management, and energy saving, which are essential sub-areas of climate change, and to seamlessly integrate these practices into our educational institutions. The project achieved its goals by significantly enhancing the environmental consciousness of both students and teachers. It also fostered a strong commitment to sustainable practices, leading to measurable improvements in how our institutions manage environmental resources. The success of this initiative has empowered our participants to continue implementing and advocating for sustainable practices, thereby extending the project's impact beyond its conclusion.

Within the scope of the project, we successfully implemented three Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activities, each carefully designed to maximize engagement and educational impact. These activities encompassed a variety of dynamic and interactive formats, including workshops, drama exercises, the production of short films, and the development of digital materials, all of which facilitated peer learning among students. Moreover, we organized specialized activities specifically for teachers. These sessions were focused on developing concrete skills for integrating climate change topics into their lesson plans and classroom activities across different subjects. These initiatives were instrumental in enhancing the participants' understanding of climate issues and equipped them with effective tools to incorporate these vital topics into various educational contexts. By the end of the project, both students and teachers were better prepared to address and engage with environmental challenges, contributing to a more informed and proactive school community.

The project successfully achieved its goals, resulting in several concrete outputs and beneficial results. We developed a range of resources designed to raise awareness about climate issues among students and teachers and provide them with practical methodologies for application in educational settings. These resources included comprehensive application guides, sample lesson plans, short films, and various course materials, all tailored to enhance understanding and engagement with climate change topics. At the institutional level, the project facilitated significant advancements in environmental practices within schools. Participating institutions developed effective strategies for addressing climate change, which led to notable reductions in water and energy consumption. Furthermore, improvements in waste management practices were implemented across these schools, demonstrating a tangible impact of the project on their operational sustainability. These outcomes not only fulfilled our initial objectives but also set a robust foundation for continued environmental stewardship within the educational community.
