We have worked to ensure acceptance and support between special education students and typically developing students. We formed the basis of these efforts by combining innovative and contemporary special education approaches. We mobilised special education teams on the job to increase communication between students and developed their ability to live in harmony. In this process, we increased the competence level of school staff and enabled them to act jointly. We established international collaborations by taking advantage of European educational culture and carried out exemplary work for schools with similar problems. By using Web 2.0 based tools, we organised activities for students in digital environments and integrated the internet into our project. At the same time, we conducted a fully sustainable and successful project by raising environmental awareness among our students. In this way, we have taken important steps to ensure harmony among students, improve social skills and integrate special education students into society. With all these efforts, we aimed to provide students with a better educational environment and maximise their potential.

Various activities were organised within the scope of special education activities in Turkey. Students got acquainted and mingled by playing internet-based games. They prepared videos introducing themselves with the Flipgrid application and carried out literacy activities with web 2.0 tools. Reading activities were carried out by creating avatars using Chatterpix application. Good practice examples were shared by visiting the Special Education Campus and experiences were shared by visiting different schools. Activities were evaluated by creating Padlets with photos and videos. The interaction continued by bringing together photos and videos on the Padlet link of the host school. A special education awareness project promotion festival was held across Turkey. The project was promoted in co-operation with universities. While organising picnic and bonding activities in nature in Romania, environmental awareness was emphasised. Mini drama activities and art workshop visits were organised in Portugal. Trekking nature walks were organised and students were encouraged to mingle. With all these activities, students' social skills were developed and environmental awareness was instilled.

The realisation of peer education by adapting it to today's conditions was one of the primary objectives of the project. The existence of the digital world strengthened peer education and played an important role in the success of the project. By motivating students and teachers and moving away from traditional methods, we created an environment where differences between students are shared in a pleasant way. We offered examples of good practices for experience and inspiration. We blended peer education with current issues such as the environment and the importance of the environment. We created a platform that appeals to all segments, taking into account student differences. We enabled students to realise themselves, act together and be harmonious. We increased the happiness and motivation of students through sports and art activities. We contributed to the development of responsibility, self-confidence and sense of belonging.
