▶Objectives
Through the digital training program developed for newly appointed PPS, it’s aimed to facilitate the orientation of PPSs to the judicial system, support pre-service training, save time and cost and protect the environment. When new legal regulations and practices are applied, it would be revised and re-used much more easily in the digital training format. So, it would be much more functional in terms of ensuring sustainability and standardization. Furthermore, it would make a strong contribution to strengthening institutional capacity in areas such as innovation in vocational training, digital transformation and sharing good practice examples.
▶Activities
A need analysis was carried out. Within the scope of this; a desk study on vocational and digital training was conducted. Pilot courthouses were determined and focus group discussions on PPSs training needs were held with judges and PPS. Need analysis report was prepared. A study visit was organized to Slovenia to share examples of best practices. With this study visit, vocational and digital training practices were observed and a study visit report was prepared.Regarding the need analysis and study visit, the digital training program and materials were created. Working groups were determined from judges, PPS, academicians, and project team. Project website was established. Training modules and useful resources were uploaded on the website. The training modules were prepared in Turkish, Slovenian and English. A pilot training was organized with the participation of 232 PPS. Feedbacks were received and a pilot training report was prepared.According to the feedbacks, the training program was revised and finalized.Within the scope of the dissemination, a closing conference was organized.119 participants attended the conference, which had face-to-face and online participation options, and 532 people watched the broadcast.
