EARTH4YOUTH - taking action for our planet with the

Objectives The vision and main goal of EARTH4YOUTH is to make the earth4all initiative, the latest publication of the famous Club of Rome, accessible to the youth sector and especially to young people. The captivating aspect of earth4all is the hopeful perspective for our planet if only we take enough action. Young people in the midst of the current numerous crises such as COVID, the war in Europe and the environmental disaster need hope as they are constantly inundated with negative news. Activities The facilitator program that is being developed, is a blended learning offer for youth workers who wish to integrate the earth4all model in their work and their projects. Additionally learning resources are created for young people which bring across the scientific model in an understandable youth-oriented manner. All the resources developed are pilot tested: 12 youth workers and 100 young people will be the first changemakers building their skills and capabilities on the program EARTH4YOUTH. Impact With EARTH4YOUTH we develop a learning toolbox for youth workers and a learning opportunity for young people on the EARTH4ALL initiative. Youth workers are going to be trained to become multipliers or EARTH4YOUTH FACILITATORS and young people will be trained on the principles of social entrepreneurship to take action. A workbook will support the implementation phase of their project, as well as an eLearning offer to depen their knowledge.
