Summary

Objectives "The Forgotten Lands" aims to establish a strong European network of co-creative artistic residencies. Foregrounding places for young people situated in deprived urban and rural contexts. Our work ethic is based on inclusion and with a focus on ecology and sustainability in conjunction with participatory and artistic methodologies. We aim to create horizontal learning centres within the local context, but also seek to enrich young people with international experiences and exchanges of knowledge. Activities Five transnational meetings (TNM) will be organised in five different countries. Each meeting focuses on a different topic, embedded in the host's context: -Inclusive socio-artistic working methods -Collective Cooperation -Rural life and creative spaces based on the principles of Permaculture -Art in Situ in relation to ecology -Youth in peripheral and rural area Between each TNM we organise 3 online meeting: -Evaluation from the last TNM -Preparations for the next TNM -General communication Impact An innovative small-scale European network with a solid and coherent ideological and structural base with improved practices, values and goals to be aware of the needs of young artists, from rural and peripheral areas.
