Building Financial Skills and Concepts for youth people

Objectives The FiLY project is aiming to financially literate youth people by providing a core competencies framework based on the gamification approach. Through the implementation of concrete actions and results, the project is aiming not only to financially educate youth people, but also to identify new and innovative training programmes, identify and adjust the curriculum to the youth needs and bring together a group of stakeholders capable to exploit the project's outcome and support its sustainability Activities The project will implement the following activities: Management of the project; establishment of QAC, Focus Group analysis, creation of a Financial Capacity Playbook, organization of 3-day Workshops (one in each country), organization of two multiplier events (one in each country) and implementation of a Final Conference (online). The flow of the activities is structured in a way that will result to the most optimum outcomes and will result to the highest possible impact to the youth audience. Impact The result is to provide the basic tools to youth to become self-sufficient and achieve financial stability. This includes being able to save money, distinguish the difference between wants/needs and manage their budget. Further to this is increases self confidence to make financial decisions, increases negotiation power and therefore boost their self esteem to achieve goals.
