Growing Youth Artivism and Transformative Work for

Objectives We wish to support youth activists, ‘artivists’ (i.e. activists mobilizing the arts) and young sustainability professionals to grow both the transnational community of support and the green skills they need to become transformative change agents, as active citizens in the fight against climate change, and by fostering transformative climate action and a regenerative approach to climate resilience either in their current workplaces or through social entrepreneurship. Activities We will create a transnational and diverse network of youth climate artivists, activists, and young sustainability professionals, starting from Germany and Norway. We will strengthen the network by building the capacities of its members in mobilizing storytelling and the arts for climate action, and in fostering transformative climate action and a regenerative approach to climate resilience. We will also provide an interactive online community platform for open exchanges and collaborations. Impact We expect members of the transnational network to feel empowered, connected to one another, fully engaged in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation through artivism and/or professionally. Those transformative change agents will be more resilient by being part of a European movement. We also expect the project to foster creativity and innovation in climate action, as well as enhanced mental health and wellbeing, which will positively affect European societies at large.
