Diving into the core of leadership
▶Summary
Objectives Leadership is defined as an influence relationship among leaders and followers who intend real changes that reflect their mutual purposes. A good leadership style determines effective team performance, which has a spill over effect on incumbents’ wellbeing, such as youth workers, young people and other individuals. Therefore, the project’s purpose is to get youth acquainted with the needed knowledge and skills, allowing them to give and seek information and to build healthy work relationships. Activities The project has 3 main activities, as it follows below: - A1: Kick-off meeting & Quantitative research - identifying the learning needs and potential challenges that youth workers face nowadays when it comes for leadership. - A2: Training course for youth workers - starting to work on the Moodle e-learning course, drafting ideas, exchanging good practices. - A3: Launching the Moodle-learning tool & final convference. Impact The project’s purpose is to get youth acquainted with essential knowledge in the field of leadership and to strengthen the necessary skills that will allow them to give and seek information, build heathy relationships – offering support and listening to the others’ needs and points of view, inspire their employees/colleagues to take action and provide a work environment where everyone will be able to grow professionally together with the organization.
