Objectives Beyond the beach: supporting engagement and inclusion of rural and island youth through the preservation of natural and cultural heritage" project aims to promote the enhancement of natural and cultural heritage as a tool for social and professional inclusion to develop the commitment of young people and allow them to access the potential for jobs and the creation of solidarity and social businesses in order to promote their rural integration. Activities To do this, youth workers working with young people must be able to - develop their knowledge and skills in the field of cultural and natural heritage in order to better guide and support these young people from the discovery of their local heritage to the development of a project or another activity around heritage and the promotion of a active citizenship. Impact 'Beyond the beach' makes it possible to create a space for meetings - virtual and face-to-face - for the exchange of good practices between youth workers engaged in European island regions in the preservation of natural and cultural heritage with a view to creating synergies and bringing common responses to challenges related to the climate and digital transition in the field of heritage preservation.
