▶Summary
Objectives The main objective of the project is to provide opportunity for young people aged 14-18 to acquire social entrepreneurship competencies with the support of professionals and the development of business plans. Our project seeks to respond to the problem that public education does not place sufficient emphasis on the transfer of these competencies and the development of an entrepreneurial mindset, which is why the majority of young people enter the labor market without being properly prepared. Activities Within the framework of the project 26-30 young people will be directly involved. Training activities regarding the establishment of social enterprises are carried out, in addition to study visits, job shadowing, mentoring, professional discussions and continuous professional assistance. The completed at least 12 business plans will be presented to the general public in two exhibitions. An important result of the project is a methodological publication. Impact The main outcome of the activities is a methodology that can help both young people and adults in developing business plans for setting up social enterprises. A vocational cooperation will be set up that can provide long-term efforts aimed at reducing the unemployment rate the two regions. The youth involved can participate as multipliers in the later involvement of their peers. The concept of social enterprises is becoming widely known.
