Mental health after woman abuse

Objectives • To promote the «reparation, recovery and reintegration» into the everyday life of young girls, from Italy and Spain, who are victims of violence, abuse, and/or male chauvinist mistreatment • To co-create a «Repair, Recovery and Resilience Plan» through an innovative approach using the tandem between the «Traumatic Autobiographical Narrative Therapy» and the «Autobiographical Dance-Theater» • To show the social incomprehension felt by young girls victims of aggression. Activities We will co-create the «Repair, Recovery and Resilience Plan» which will benefit from the tandem between the «Traumatic Autobiographical Narrative Therapy» and the «Autobiographical Dance-Theater» proposing five interconnected activities, three in cascade «1. Expressive Arts, 2. Sorority Circle, 3. Empathy Circle” and two transversals “4. Scenic Piece, and 5. Guide for a beautiful life». The latter will be tools “understandable, manageable, and meaningful to empower girls in the face of trauma. Impact With this intervention model, we will promote care actions focused on the accompaniment, repair, recovery, and return to everyday life, which are the needs and real situations of the girls in the present young people who have suffered abuse and sexist violence. SILENCIO project will help young girls to overcome fear, increase self-esteem and eliminate feelings of guilt.
