Summary

Objectives NMF Innlandet in Norway together with Ruoholahti All Star in Helsinki want to use the Erasmus+ to build an international understanding, competance and tolerance for for their musicians through visits and rehearsal towards common musical goals. Youth have through their involvement in their organizations from a young age, been given the opportunity to achieve a high level on their instrument. Interaction through music are tools to cross borders in Europe: personally, musically and culturally. Activities The idea of this cooperation comes from the conductors in each band, having studied together. The bands are visiting each other in both countries, getting to know each other, practice and play concerts together. They wil prepare and perform concerts. They will learn about each others countries, culture, music and musical history. Preperations start already in january 2023 with digital meetings. Digital meetings will continue through the whole project, among the real personal and musical meetings Impact The result will be the common concerts in both countries. We expect to see proud and confident musicians performing music together on a high level. We hope that some of the youth will find the courage to start higher education in music, perhaps in another country. The national wind organizations will get experience with international cooperation, that can lead to new, perhaps larger projects with other countries.
