▶Objectives
We aim to promote better collaboration among women entrepreneurs to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for women in business. By helping them emerge from isolation, we hope to close the gender gap in economic opportunities, promote greater gender equality, and weave strong European networks for innovation and regeneration. The program, "The Art of Collaboration," offered a 12-week cohort-based online course accessible to women entrepreneurs worldwide, focusing on remote and regenerative collaboration skills essential for business growth. Additionally, we organized two barcamps in Routsi, Greece and Vienna, Austria, bringing women entrepreneurs together to share knowledge, challenges and network. The program also aimed to bridge intercultural, intergenerational, and social divides among women entrepreneurs in Europe, fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas to promote diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through collaboration, women can share resources, expertise, and support, leading to greater efficiency, creativity, and ultimately, success and innovation in entrepreneurship.
▶Activities
In our project, we implemented several key activities: Throughout the project, we effectively managed and coordinated all activities under WP 1: Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Dissemination. This involved overseeing the entire project timeline and budget, setting up collaboration tools, and coordinating with partners. In parallel, under WP 2: Co-creation of Concept and Online Course, we collaborated with partners and stakeholders to design and develop the 12-week online course on "The Art of Collaboration." This included collecting and integrating content from two barcamps organized as part of WP 3 and WP 4 in Greece and Austria, respectively. We promoted these barcamps to ensure maximum participation and engagement. Subsequently, under WP 5, we implemented and tested the online course with three cohorts of women entrepreneurs from across Europe. Finally, under WP 6, we conducted thorough evaluations to assess the course's effectiveness and made necessary improvements before publishing the final versions in both English and Greek.
▶Impact
We hosted two day-long barcamps on site in the Greek village Routsi, Greece, and in Vienna, Austria, which provided a valuable space for mutual learning, understanding, and self-efficacy. These events facilitated networking and collaboration among women entrepreneurs, gathering best practices, tools, and methods to enhance the course content. The project successfully created a strong network of women entrepreneurs, participants stayed connected through a private space on our community platform of EXPEERTS.club, ensuring ongoing collaboration and support. The publication of the course test materials on the platform facilitated open exchange of feedback and learning among the test cohorts. We published the "Art of Collaboration" learning material under a Creative Commons license. This course consists of 12 units designed for cohort-based learning, available for free as downloadable PDFs in English and Greek. A landing page and a Padlet were created for documentation and further sharing of resources among participants. These platforms serve as hubs for ongoing learning and resource exchange, enhancing the project's reach and impact. www.bit.ly/TAOC23 www.padlet.com/expeertsclub/TAOC23
