โ–ถObjectives

The overall objective of our Cooperation Partnership "Diverse Courses" is to contribute to inclusion and diversity in adult education in Europe. More particularly, "Diverse Courses" had three main objectives, which we have all achieved very well. The first objective was to support educators to better identify and understand the diverse composition of their learners and also their own colleagues' profiles and backgrounds. To achieve this objective, we first did a research of good practices, then developed practical profiling tools like questionnaires and interview guidelines and then used the "Personas" approach. This method helps to create realistic profiles of learners and educators, so it is easier to understand their needs and situations. The second objective was to give educators tools, methods and examples on how to adapt their teaching or these diverse needs that we identified. To achieve this objective, we investigated good practice examples of didactical methods and created a set of new "Didactical Scenarios" for different types of courses. The third objective was to promote and share all these resources developed with a wide audience, not only inside the partnership, but across the European landscape of adult education.
