The main and overall objective of the ELEVATE project is the development of innovative approaches and tools for SMEs and small organisations for supporting an individual solution to tackle the dramatic problem of shortage of skilled workforce which is and will become a major problem for the European economy in global competition and the European society as a whole. The project will provide SMEs and small organisations with a set of tools to identify their individual potentials and take action.

Within the project the partners will be initially researching potential factors in SMEs which would support tackling the problem on four distinct action levels (full time employment for women, employment for older workers close to or even after retirement, levering potentials of diversity and migration, upskilling the low and unskilled). On the basis of the investigative research, the project will develop a comprehensive online potential scanner as well as a strategy workshop concept for SMEs.

During its implementation the project will develop an innovative online potential scanner for SMEs and small organisations to identify their individual potentials and gaps on the 4 distinct action levels which show companies their individual fields of action. On this basis the project will be offering a comprehensive and tailored strategy building workshop for SMEs and small organisations which allows them to develop concrete action strategies on the basis of the potential scanner results.
