Education in Mental Health for Nurses in Home and Residential Care
โถObjectives
The development of a blended learning training of 5 ECTS credit points aims to enhance the digital and professional competence of RNs in home care and residential care facilities in the early detection, control and combat to mental health issues among clients in need of care as well as to strengthen their institutional implementation. This will enable RNs to better reach these clients and provide them with targeted support in accessing informal and formal service providers.
โถActivities
In addition to the project management including the international and national dissemination, the development of digital mental health screening tools will take place, which will be tested and adapted for the first time in a train the trainer course. Afterwards, the four-day postgraduate blended learning certificate course for RNs in Austria, Slovenia and Cyprus will start. The project deliverables include learning materials, user manuals, guidelines, working book, transnational reports, etc.
