By implementing this project, we aimed to achieve several key outcomes. First, we wanted to bridge the digital divide among seniors by equipping them with essential digital skills, empowering them to navigate online platforms and services safely and confidently. This would enhance their ability to stay socially connected, access public services, and participate in modern digital society, reducing their risk of isolation. Additionally, we sought to train educators and volunteers, providing them with the tools and methodologies to deliver tailored digital literacy training to seniors. This was a vital component to ensure long-term impact and sustainability, allowing for the project’s expansion beyond the initial participants and geographic locations. We also aimed to foster active aging and social inclusion by promoting digital citizenship among seniors, ensuring they are equipped to engage in civic activities and use digital tools for their personal well-being. Ultimately, our goal was to create a replicable and scalable model that could be adopted at a local and European level, contributing to the broader effort to promote digital inclusion across generations.
