▶Objectives
Our goal is to combine the complementary expertise of three partners (psychoeducation, brief therapy based on the Palo Alto approach, and cyberbullying prevention) to develop innovative, free, and accessible educational tools for adults who work with children aged 10 to 14. These tools aim to strengthen young people’s self-esteem, their ability to assert themselves, and their capacity to independently handle bullying or cyberbullying situations. By improving their well-being and their place within the group, we create optimal learning conditions and help reduce the prevalence of bullying in both school and extracurricular settings.
▶Activities
We carried out three flagship actions: Produced four educational videos to challenge common misconceptions about school bullying and provide concrete strategies for action. Designed the “Prends ta place” activity booklet (PDF), combining theoretical insights and practical activities on self-esteem, group inclusion, and prevention/intervention in cases of bullying and cyberbullying. Conducted a testing phase in eight school groups (166 children), using shared evaluation grids among partners to fine-tune the tools. In addition, we created six infographics on cyberbullying, published on prendstaplace.eu, and held several transnational meetings to coordinate the production and validation of the content.
▶Impact
The project delivered and disseminated: Four educational videos in French (with English subtitles), used by teachers, facilitators, and parents to understand and take action against bullying. A free, interactive activity booklet for children aged 10–14, including exercises, role-play activities, and practical worksheets. Six clear and engaging infographics on cyberbullying, widely shared online and during training sessions. A dedicated website (prendstaplace.eu) bringing together all the tools in one place, ensuring free and long-term access. Measured impacts in the field: stronger adoption of the tools by educational teams; children more confident and able to identify and apply resistance strategies; reinforced transnational cooperation between partners.
