▶Objectives
With this project 'Schools as a bridge to a sustainable society' we wish to raise awareness of a huge universal world issue and of the fact that every citizen, organisation and school can contribute to improving the situation we are in today. We want to set an example to other schools on how to optimise all the tips and tricks to reduce waste and save energy.
▶Activities
We will analyse our different situations concerning waste and energy management, on national level and school level. After research, information will be shared on Twinspace or other platforms. Together we will draw up a vision and determine in which direction we should go. We will analyse the policies in the participating countries and partnerschools. Comparing this policies, will lead to pro and con. Finally we will make a list of recommendations for other schools in Europe.
▶Impact
By sharing experiences about waste and energy management, we hope this project will convince our students to be aware of the consequencies of the way they handle our planet's resources.
