Objectives

Project 'Bio-Ret-Energy' will run 3 years (2023-2026) with 6 partners: Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain and France. Its goal is through analysis, identification and development of strategies and priorities of water management and renewable energies, to implement small examples for water bioretention using renewable energy and in accordance to European Green Deal to raise people's knowledge and awareness of climate change and the importance of sustainable horticulture.

Impact

We expect to achieve following results of 5 workshops: small installations of green roofs, irrigation sets powered by renewable energy, rain garden as bioretention example. During the virtual activities students and teachers create materials for preparing the workshops. Students also achieve awareness of climate change, improve digital skills, try to build social relationships, learn about their cultural diversity, habits and acquire competences in foreign language.
