Objectives

The main objective of the project was to equip adult learners, particularly those from marginalized communities—with green skills that enhance their employability and support the transition toward a sustainable labour market. By implementing the project, we aimed to create new educational opportunities that respond to environmental challenges and prepare adults for future professions in the green economy. Specifically, we sought to achieve the following: 1. Research and analysis of environmental skills needed in modern industries and economies, identifying gaps in adult education curricula and labour market requirements. 2. Development of a methodology for creating flexible, high-quality adult education curricula focused on green topics and aligned with employers’ needs. 3. Creation of three new training curricula in environmental education for adult learners—covering practical, industry-related green skills. 4. Implementation of pilot training activities involving 18 adult learners (6 from each partner country) to test and validate the developed curricula. 5. Strengthening the institutional capacity of the partner organizations. 6. Fostering transnational cooperation between Bulgaria, Portugal, and Italy.
